Softball League Structure for Spring Seasons

The softball league is sanctioned with NSA.

Approximate dates for spring seasons: online registration begins in December, onsite registrations in January, evaluations first of February, practices begin mid February, games begin mid March with the season wrapping up before Memorial Day.(Subject to changes as the board sees fit)

(Note: Softball playing age for the Spring 2023 season is determined by the player's age on December 31, 2022, except for the tball 4 league which is determined by the player's age on 4/30/2023. )

T-Ball 4 (Playing Age 4-Coed)

• Approximately 8 games played on Saturdays
• Play is instructional
• Co-ed League
• Score is not kept and there are no umpires
• Shirt provided
• Teams are formed by blind draw

PeeWee 5&6 (Playing Age 5 & 6)

• Approximately 14 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
• Play is instructional the first half of the season, no score is kept and no umpire
• Score is kept the second half of the season, with one junior umpire per game
• A combination of a tee and coach pitch will be used for the first half of the season
• During the second half of the season when score is kept play will be exclusively coach pitch(no tee)
• Base paths at 60 feet
• Shirt provided
• Teams are formed by blind draw

PeeWee (Playing Age 7 & 8)

• Approximately 14 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
• One junior umpire per game
• Base paths at 60 feet
• Shirt provided
• Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation

Minor (Playing Age 9 & 10 )

• Approximately 14 games played in a double header format on weeknights(2 games on one night during the week)
• Two umpires per game
• Pitching Rubber at 35 feet, base paths at 60 feet
• Shirt provided
• Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation

Major (Playing Age 11 -& 12)

• Approximately 14 games played in a double header format on weeknights(2 games on one night during the week)
• Two umpires per game
• Pitching Rubber at 40 feet, base paths at 60 feet
• Shirt provided
• Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation

Senior (Playing Age 14 - 18 )

• Approximately 14 games played on weeknights.
• Two umpires per game
• Pitching Rubber at 43 feet, base paths at 60 feet
• Shirt provided
• Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation
