Baseball League Structure for Spring Seasons

(Note: Baseball playing age for the Fall 2025 season is determined by the players age on April 30, 2026.)

Approximate dates for fall seasons: online registration begins in June, evaluations end of July, practices begin first of August, games begin late  August with regular season games ending the first week of October and a year end tournament to be hosted after Wilson County fall break(subject to change as the board sees fit)

Tee - Ball 4 League

  • Approximately 6 games played on Saturdays
  • Play is instructional
  • Score is not kept and there are no umpires
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by blind draw
  • No Post-season Tournaments


Tee - Ball 5 League

  • Approximately 12 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
  • Play is instructional
  • Score is not kept and there are no umpires
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by blind draw
  • No Post-season Tournaments

Pee Wee 6 League (Coach Pitch)

  • Approximately 12 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
  • Score is kept the for the entire season, with one junior umpire per game
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation
  • Single-elimination two day post-season tournament with seeding done by a draw.

Pee Wee 7 League (Coach Pitch)

  • Approximately 12 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
  • One junior umpire per game
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation
  • Single-elimination two day post-season tournament with seeding done by a draw.

Pee Wee 8 League (Coach Pitch)

  • Approximately 12 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
  • One junior umpire per game
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation
  • Single-elimination two day post-season tournament with seeding done by a draw.

Minor League 9 and Minor League 10 (Player Pitch, Ages 9 & 10) (These age groups could be combined or kept separate at a minor 9 league and a minor 10 league based on registration numbers)

  • Approximately 12 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
  • Two umpires per game
  • Pitching Rubber at 46 feet, base paths at 65 feet.
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation
  • Single-elimination two day post-season tournament seeding based on regular season record

Major League (Ages 11 - 12)

  • Approximately 12 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
  • Two umpires per game
  • Pitching Rubber at 50 feet, base paths at 70 feet.
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation
  • Single-elimination two day post-season tournament seeding based on regular season record

Junior League (Ages 13 - 14)

  • Approximately 12 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
  • Games are played at MJLI park as well as other local parks
  • Two umpires per game
  • Pitching Rubber at 60 feet 6 inches, base paths at 90 feet.
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation
  • Single-elimination two day post-season tournament seeding based on regular season record

Senior League (Ages15-18)

  • Approximately 12 games played on weeknights and Saturdays
  • Two umpires per game
  • Pitching Rubber at 60 feet 6 inches, base paths at 90 feet.
  • Cap and shirt provided
  • Teams are formed by player draft following an evaluation
  • Single-elimination two day post-season tournament seeding based on regular season record
